Friday, AUG 18th, STREET:

  • 9am - Contest Begins

  • The competition will be held in the circled red area.

  • 3 Skaters per heat

  • 3 min Jam

  • Overall score for each skater

  • Top 6 scores advance

Saturday, AUG 19th, VERT:

Qualifying:

-9am - Contest Begins

-No more than 7 skaters per heat

-Best run counts format

-1 Intro Run (30 sec run, if skater falls they can keep skating till time ends)

-3 ordered runs (skate till you fall or max time 30 sec run)

 

Finals:

-Six skaters

-Best run counts format

-1 Intro Run (30 sec run, if skater falls they can keep skating till time ends)

-3 ordered runs (skate till you fall or max time 30 sec run)

-5 min Break for skaters to practice/rest. The current standings will be posted

-5 min “Rampage” / designed to be a tie breaker for close scores - Bangers only session

Sunday, AUG 20th, BOWL:

Qualifying:

-9am - Contest Begins

-No more than 7 skaters per heat

-Best run counts format

-1 Intro Run (40 sec run, if skater falls they can keep skating till time ends)

-3 ordered runs (skate till you fall or max time 40 sec run)

 

Finals:

-Six skaters

-Best run counts format

-1 Intro Run (40 sec run, if skater falls they can keep skating till time ends)

-3 ordered runs (skate till you fall or max time 40 sec run)

-5 min Break for skaters to practice/rest. The current standings will be posted

-5 min “Rampage” / designed to be a tie breaker for close scores - Bangers only session

HOW THE CUTS WORK FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY:

-If there are 4 heats or more in a category there will be a semi-finals (2 heats)

-If there are 3 heats or less in a category the category will go straight to finals

-Each heat can have a maximum of 7 skaters and minimum of 4 skaters

-The finals will be 6 skaters (even if 6 and 7 spots are close).

​NOTE: Be aware that Colorado Springs is at 6,035 feet in elevation. It is strongly recommended that athletes arrive at least 48 hours prior to the event to acclimate to the altitude, before attempting strenuous physical activity.

Registrations for all skaters will take place through our Eventbrite site. Waivers must be completed for all athletes.​  Liability waivers must be signed by all competitors (18 years and older) or by the competitor's legal guardian (if under 18). 

Airlines serving Colorado Springs (COS) include United, Delta, and  American Airlines.  (Alaska Airlines and Allegiant Airlines also have limited service available). Tickets from the Los Angeles area are currently running approximately $350 round trip, but the prices will certainly increase closer to the event.  

We will make every effort to ensure the competition takes place despite possible weather-related issues. If for any reason the weather prohibits outdoor competition, it will be resumed the following day.
